Dr. Hiemstra received his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his Family Practice residency at Iowa Lutheran Family Practice in Des Moines, Iowa. He is Board Certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners.
Dr. Hiemstra is residency trained to provide the full scope of care to all members of the family including maternity care. His emphasis is on preventive care and health screening and is currently available to be your health care partner.
