John S. Hruby, MD

 Dr. Hruby was raised in Seattle and graduated from Cornell University and the University of Washington School of Medicine. He received his postgraduate training in Family Medicine at the Maine-Dartmouth Residency Program in 1979.   In joint practice since 1979 in Ferndale with his wife, Dr.  Bertha Safford, he shares her passion for skiing, mountain climbing, and travel.   Dr. Hruby has served as Ferndale School District Board Member since 1987.
